So who in the name of Merlin is this rube Goldberg guy?
No he’s not my dog. i wish he were, though… could’ve roundhouse kicked him across the globe… talk about animal abuse…=.=
Dear Mr. rube Goldberg is a… cartoonist, sculptor, author, engineer, and inventor… wow… i never knew he was so multitalented… who gives a damn though…
Quite a nice guy he may seem… until… he invented this… god-awful, torturous, brain-splitting, murderous, sweet little machine that was named after him… the Rube Goldberg machine…
This hell of a sweet little machine is defined as… a machine which performs a simple task through complex, indirect and convoluted methods… for example… erm… imagine a big, oversized machine with many gears and cranks and levers and bla bla bla……… and what does it do? it unties your shoelace for you perhaps…=.=
Cracked my head for days for this silly project whereby students are required to build a… you got it… a Rube Goldberg machine…that switches off an alarm clock when activated… 5 types of motion are to be involved in the machine namely sliding, rolling, falling, oscillation and rotation…
After many days of stress and strain ( to the brain of course )… finally completed it… let me describe it… firstly… the marble… nvm… i’ll jus show some pictures…
which will roll along this track for some time…
and then hit another golf ball… which will fall on to the see saw thingy… which will pull the big bad rock down to hit the alarm clock at the base of the slide… cant see no alarm clock? ur eyes need some checking matey… XD jkjk… alarm clock was on the table i think…
dear silly machine… you just got on my nerve one time too many… XDXD
had trouble controlling my emotions while destroying you my dearrrrr… v_v you asked for it alright… drive me crazy and i will drive you straight to your……………………………………………………………………………….
Overall… this was better than the last two egg-speriments which caused egg-phobia in me and led to other catastrophic consequences… at least we neither had to clean up big puddles of egg-goo nor suffer nights of hard boiled eggs for this project…
